Old Wineskin

A word from the heart of God: Old Wineskin.

God has been ministering to me recently about releasing all old wine skins from my life. In essence, He is saying, “Out with the old and in with the new.” Matthew 9:17 says, “Nor is new wine put into old wineskins that have lost their elasticity; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the fermenting wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.” We can't put new ideas into old mindsets. We can't get new results with old behaviors. I’m sensing it’s time for drastic noticeable changes. Here is how you start: repent, own your past, and take accountability for the damage you’ve done that could or has jeopardized your future. Second, replace old habits with new healthy ones and seek transformation, not temporary change. Next, relax. Trusting God means exactly that, trust Him and rest in His word and breathe — tomorrow is a new day.
