Captivate

A word from the heart of God: Captivate.

Captivate is a beautiful word. It basically means to be enthralled by beauty or excellence. I believe it’s God’s desire to captivate our hearts with His beauty and His excellence. To be captivated by Jesus is to be held in a positive way. It does not mean to be imprisoned by Him but rather to be free because of His love and grace. How we need to be captivated by the heart of Jesus, fully enthralled by the beauty in the authority of His name and the excellence in the life it produces. Colossians 2: 2 states, “My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Through the love and grace of God, Paul, inspired by God, wrote letters which have been used as tools to accomplish great works in unifying people in love. Be captivated by the unknown things of God. Let His hidden secrets enthrall you and allow His Glory to radiate through you.
