Pursue

A word from the heart of God; Pursue. 

I remember when I was young, I’d work two jobs just for money. I learned early on that if I worked for money, then money became my boss. I changed my perspective about money when my heart aligned with purpose. When I was young, my purpose was to get my family out of poverty. I knew that if I worked four jobs, I still wouldn’t have enough money to make any real difference in the long term, so I changed my focus. I remember having to change my mindset about money in order to do that. I began asking myself how can money work for me instead of me working for it. I started to tap into the resources God gave me and focused my natural gifts toward a purpose, and money started to follow. As I look back, I now understand a Kingdom principle that I applied even though I didn’t realize it at the time. We are supposed to work for a purpose, not money. If you find your purpose, money will find you. You should see your boss as God and purpose and not money.
