Readiness

A word from the heart of God: Readiness.

This is a powerhouse word. How many people do you actually know who live life intentionally? This means they live with a posture of readiness. In general, readiness means the state of being fully prepared, willing, or equipped for action. Spiritual readiness is the ability to endure stress, hardship, and tragedy by cultivating a strong sense of purpose, core values, and inner strength. It is a proactive, daily practice rather than a reactive one. It honors God greatly when you operate from a posture of always being prepared. We should desire to be alert, attentive, and willing to serve. Readiness is not passive — it involves being actively engaged in God’s work, like a "faithful steward" who serves diligently, rather than wasting time (Matthew 24:45-51). Let us all adopt a mindset that is always ready to give a message of hope in Christ.
