Redefine
A word from the heart of God: Redefine.
There are moments in life where life almost feels like it’s standing still. It’s like looking into a small window where you can see time and almost tangentially touch it. As we close out one year and move into another year, I believe this window appears. It’s a time when we look back on what has been and then look forward to what could be and then sit still in what is. Today, I’m sensing the word redefine and this is a beautiful yet challenging word for me. My entire life, I’ve prepared for a future that is no more. What I thought would be will now never be. I’m embracing today’s word as a gift. It’s not often when God gives you an opportunity to redefine things in your life. I will always cherish what my past used to mean to me, but today, I am redefining what my future tomorrow’s will be, and I encourage you to do the same. This scripture will now lead me into the new year and I pray that it does the same for you. Ecclesiastes 3:11: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end”. REDEFINE to me means “God has placed Eternity in my Heart” and my tomorrow will embrace that every day.
