Release

When you decide to release someone, the world would say you are giving up on them but that’s not truth. There are seasons when releasing someone is necessary. It’s when you have done all that you can and you have to turn them completely over to God. For those of you who have been released by someone who loves you, please know that the release that was necessary took so much out of the person doing the releasing. Please know that a great deal of love and trust in God goes into a posture of being called to release. For those called to release, please honor yourself. This action step is one prompted by God. If you are one who gives endless chances, one who always sees the best in the people, one who accepts people for who they truly are and stands by them when no one else will. If that’s you and you are being called to release someone, know that in this season, God is intervening and protecting you. Know that it takes great courage and strength to release someone you love because that call takes a lot out of you. Know with certainty that the empty space will now be filled by God in its entirety. Trust God, He is faithful and worthy to be trusted!
