Self-respect
Don’t give part time people a full time position in your life. I heard someone say when someone treats you like you are just one of many options in their life, while you make them the only option in yours, they said to help them narrow their choice down by removing yourself from the equation. “Powerful, isn’t it?” Sometimes you can mean almost nothing to someone who means so much to you. This is what self respect looks like. Know your value and what you have to offer and don’t settle for anything less than what you deserve. You are a child of God, royalty by the authority in Christ. You are beautiful, you are chosen, you are priceless, and you are worthy to be loved as close to unconditional as humanly possible. See your worth. You are extremely valuable to God. He said in Isaiah 43:4, “You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you.” Why are you so valuable to him? You are valuable because God is your Heavenly Father, and you are His child. Self Respect is a gift to you as well as a gift to others.
