Reminisce

A word from the heart of God; Reminisce. 

I recently drove down a road that brought back so many beautiful memories. As I reminisced for a moment, I was immediately confronted with the truth of my present-day reality, which is much different than those beautiful memories. As I reminisced, I sensed the Lord saying, hold on to those memories for they are your gifts of love. That sentiment made me smile because no matter where you are in life, nothing and no one can take a love memory from you. God, in His beautiful design, made love a superpower and we should all be so thankful for that. Push your wounds aside and allow memories to flood your heart. The devil wants to remove memories because he knows how beautifully powerful they are. Don’t let anything or anyone tanish memories that are sacred to you, cherish them. Cherish life, cherish family, cherish traditions, cherish memories while making room in your heart and mind for beautiful new ones to come. Remember, God is love and love is a superpower.
