Reset

A word from the heart of God: Reset.

Have you ever pressed the reset button on an electronic device? You know, the button you press when something stops working and you softly begin to panic? Then you remember there’s a reset button that turns things off and reboots them so they can work properly again. I believe God designed a rebooting mechanism for us to access freely. We live in a world filled with darkness; hence, the aftermath of such darkness can trickle into our lives and especially our homes. Train yourself to unplug and reboot. This can be done through meditation, worship, praise, prayer, friendships, and one of my favorites, a change of atmosphere. “For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” Jeremiah 31:25. Instead of the word reboot, beautifully replace it with the word replenish.
