Rest and War

A word from the heart of God: Rest and War.

These two words don’t seem to belong in the same sentence. I believe we may be entering into a season of war. This should not alarm you because you are well trained for this. War is much different than battles. We as Christian’s experience battles almost daily; it's part of our walk. A war is different. A war is a fight for Holy Ground. I’ve been hearing a lot from the Lord about protecting ancient ground. To me, I believe that means protecting what belongs to you through covenant. In the Bible, a covenant is a binding, sacred agreement between God and humanity that establishes a lifelong relationship. Proverbs 1:33 declares, “But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” I believe we must stand for what we believe and properly defend our eternal promise. It is a season of rest and war.
