Sit in your Harvest

A word from the heart of God: Sit in your Harvest.

This is a very personal word for me today. Recently, I have been spending a lot of time with the Lord in prayer. In a very deep moment, I sensed the words “Sit in your harvest.” When I thought about that, I immediately thought of a farmer sowing seeds, plowing, and cultivating his land all year in expectation of a harvest. Then I thought what would happen if he worked all year and instead of enjoying the fruits of his labor and sitting in his harvest, he immediately started planting seeds again for the next year without truly enjoying the harvest he worked so hard for. Today’s word is a beautiful reminder to enjoy life. To reap the harvest of everything wonderful you have sown throughout your life. To enjoy the love of friends and family. To explore a deeper relationship with God and to truly sit in YOUR harvest. Don’t rush forward. Slow down and reap what you have labored long for. It pleases God greatly.

You are loved, Kris
