The beauty of a boundary

Surround yourself with people who love and respect you enough to see the beauty in boundaries. Boundaries are designed to teach a person how to love you correctly. How to get to know you on a deeper level, building trust through vulnerability. Selfish people do not want to hear about boundaries because they have their own agenda which is to get away with whatever they want while getting the benefits of your love. People who don’t respect boundaries are those who don’t want to be accountable, loyal, or responsible, hence hurting you may be the consequence. There is beauty in boundaries so much so that the Bible is filled with them. There are commandments, laws, and protocols put in place by God. Boundaries are put in place to help all of us be better people. They raise the bar in our lives and we should welcome them and respect them wholeheartedly. If we do that, we honor God and His word termenously.
