When things are blurred
Today, I woke up with an eye infection. Everything I looked at was blurred. The doctor gave me eye drops, so I know in a few days I will be feeling better and seeing clearly. I think we go through things in life that, at the moment, you just can’t see clearly. It’s in those times trusting God becomes vital. The objective in blurred circumstance is to regain peace. As I laid in bed and closed my eyes, I quickly forgot about my blurred vision and began to rest and regain peace. The peace of God is such a beautiful gift. “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16. God does not leave us, we leave Him. The noise of the world can crowd your mind and as a result, unrest settles in. Trusting God requires you to look beyond your momentary circumstances and stand on the promises of God. Today, I pray for peace over your heart, peace over your mind, and peace over your body. The Lord be with you.
You are loved, Kris
