The Gift of Vision
Vision is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. I heard a Pastor once say that the enemy of vision is sight. I really love that because we see with our eyes but vision is a function of our heart. Which basically means we should never trust our eyes over our vision. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” We must see through our hearts and trust the vision God entrusted to us and not be distracted by what we see with our eyes. This is powerful because seeing what God sees means we will usually see a vision internally and many times that vision is intimidating. Trusting God means you trust His promises. You align with His word and you pray and discern the next steps. Be encouraged today and begin to build that beautiful vision God placed in your heart.
