The most dangerous thing to lose
Most people may respond to that with their houses, their car, their jobs, and/or their money. The truth is those things can be replaced. The most dangerous thing in life to lose, in my opinion, is your faith. For those who understand that power of strong faith, losing that would be unimaginable. Faith in general is a strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof. The central feature of faith is confidence or trust. In the Bible the object of faith is God and His promises. Faith to me encompessess all of God‘s promises. How powerful is that? It’s much more powerful than a house, a car, a job, and clearly money. If you lose faith, you lose your belief in the promises of God, the peace of God, the joy of God, the mercy of God, the protection of God, and the forgiveness of God. Here lies the power of the promises. Be encouraged and hold strongly to your faith. Material things can be replaced while Faith must be restored.
