Value

A word from the heart of God; Value.

Value is seen differently in the world than through the lens of God. Value in the dictionary is defined as the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something, the estimate and it’s monetary worth. So different than the biblical meaning. God defines value in 1 Peter 1:18-19 as “Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot." God gave us value by creating us in His likeness. We honor Him every day by committing to be Christ-like in our words, which must always be visible by our actions. Micah 6:8 tells what God values (we are to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God). God values Sincerity, Justice, Goodness, Forgiveness, Courage, Power, and Wisdom. Ultimately, consistent witnessed maturity is key to God. It’s not enough to know the word of God. God expects you to be a living breathing witness of it. If you want to please God, ask Him to search your heart and clean out all of your impurities. Value to God is rooted in love, purity, goodness, humility, and selflessness. You are loved, Kris
