Wait

A word from the heart of God: Wait.

Strong word today. And it’s a singular word. I didn’t sense God say wait for it, or just wait, or even wait and it will happen. No, I just sensed WAIT almost with an exclamation point (!). For me, I know exactly where to apply this, and I’m sure if you thought about it, you would too. Maybe you’re anxious about something. Maybe you want to do something and almost rush into it a little. Whatever it is, I believe today’s word is encouraging you to wait, be still, and let God do what only God can do. Psalm 27:13-14 declares, “Believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Take courage and wait!
