Wiggle Room

A word from the heart of God: Wiggle Room.

This is a funny word today. “Wiggle room” is an informal term meaning leeway, freedom, or flexibility to change plans, renegotiate terms, or adjust a decision. It represents the ability to deviate slightly from a fixed set of rules. Although this phase is funny, what it represents is not. Today, I’m sensing a reminder that there is no wiggle room in God's word. It is not up for negotiation. We can not change the meaning, nor can we deviate from its commands. Culture today gives us too much choice, and that is not always a good thing. It is my prayer that we receive this gentle reminder as prompting to respect, honor, and cherish God's word for the beautiful blessing that it is.
