A word from the heart of God: Your character carries the weight of your calling.

Yesterday while I was at church, my Pastor shared a message about obedience and consistency. One of the things he said that truly stood out was that your character carries the weight of your calling. Think about that for a minute. The truth is God has already equipped you to do what He needs you to do for His glory and His kingdom, so the problem will never be God. Charisma may get you through the door, but it won’t keep you there. What keeps you there is character. Your character is the sum of your moral habits, thoughts, and actions, rooted in your inner heart. “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.” Proverbs 10:9. Remember, character is formed by choice. It is much more valuable than wealth or success.
