A Full Dependency in Christ
In essence, that means without God you are nothing. It literally means you share a breath with God. It means your eyes are consecrated to Jesus, for they are sacred. It means you have a Holy revolt in your spirit and it rises up when things oppose Him and His Truth. It means you are reconciled in your faith and not swayed by the foolishness of the world. A Full Dependency is exactly that, it is full. You need nothing else. You are content, at peace and rested in your walk with God. Many people say God should be first in your life but the truth is He should be at the core, the center of your life. If God is at your center, then everything in your life stems out of that. This means that every action you take and decision you make should be done with God at the center. God must hold the place of highest importance, and the way we live should reflect this reality. For Paul the Apostle, Jesus Christ is at the center of everything: “All things have been created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together… In [him] are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Col. 1:16–17; 2:3). A Full Dependency is a worthy quest!
