Downloaded

When something is downloaded it becomes permanent. Even if you are not conscious of it, once it’s downloaded, it’s there. The Bible says to take heed to what you hear because if you don’t control what comes into your mind, it will soon be downloaded into your subconsciousness and then downloaded into your heart. Luke 6:45 says, “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”  When the mind is connected to the heart it determines one’s future. Be aware of the choices you make daily, for they are the imprint of your future. Whatever you voluntarily decide to hear, see, and listen to constantly will be the foundational building blocks of your future. You become what you feed. If you feed sin, sin will be evident in your future. If you feed goodness, goodness will be evident in your future. In simplicity, when a computer gets a virus you only have two options, you buy a brand new computer or you delete a program and start new with a brand new program that cleans out the old one. I heard a Pastor say that the Holy Spirit is God’s software and the program is the word of God, isn’t that awesome? Let’s be a people who are intentional about what we see, hear, and feed to our spirit. This is how we honor God as well as ourselves.
