Focus

A word from the heart of God: Focus.

People use this word a lot, but I don't think they realize what it truly means. The dictionary says focus means to pay particular attention to something, but God says, "Set your mind on things above." Adjust your focus so you do not become distracted by non-essential things for long periods of time. The world says pay attention, while God says SET your mind on things above. The difference is that paying attention means different things to different people. Some people have short attention spans, but when something is set in place, that means it can not be moved — it's permanent. In essence, we have to live our lives grounded and set in our faith, living in a heavenly upward position always. We may not be able to avoid some of the daily distractions, but they should never be powerful enough to release us from what is foundationally set in our faith. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for man." Colossians 3:23.

You are loved, Kris
