Unplug
A word from the heart of God: Unplug.
In business, you hear this a lot, especially from people who are stressed out. So what does unplug actually mean? For people who aren’t moving with God, it may mean taking a day off, taking a vacation, or going to the spa, but I’m not sure that is what God intended unplugging to look like. “And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him and said, ‘Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for thee.’” 1 Kings 19:7. The word Arise is a powerful word. It means wake up or emerge. In my opinion, many of our battles are battles of the mind. Yes, there is physical exhaustion, but maybe that is the result of too many battlefields going on in our minds. Time is a priceless commodity and one we should honor, respect, and cherish. Living a purpose-filled life means you use your time wisely and honorably. A true unplugging may look more like a time of refreshing, realigning, and even recreating oneself to align with heaven and not the world. True rest may look different than you think. I don’t love the word balance, but it is useful to understand when your life tilts more to one side than the other. Rest is holy to God and a point of attack for the enemy. I pray you find rest in alignment with heaven, for it is only there that you will be supernaturally carried through all things.
You are loved, Kris
