He is the Potter
Have you ever heard this before? The phrase "we are clay, he is the potter" is a spiritual lesson that comes from the Bible, specifically the Book of Jeremiah. The lesson is that God can mold people into whatever He wants them to be, and that He doesn't give up on people, even when they make mistakes. Powerful because we all need to understand is that God redeems. That means God is working to redeem our pain and heartache for His glory and our good. For us to receive that forgiveness and redemption, we must go to Him and ask for our sins to be forgiven. Jesus has what we need but we must do our part in genuinely asking and receiving. We are the clay. Clay can be molded into any shape or form. A potter is a craftsman who uniquely shapes clay by hand. How beautiful is today’s word? God is reminding us that He and only He can truly, divinely shape us by hand into whatever He wants for His Glory and His purpose. Be encouraged, we are all in Great Hands.
You are loved, Kris
