Pristine

A word from the heart of God: Pristine.

The word pristine means in perfect condition, completely clean. I recently purchased a brand new car and anyone who has ever bought a new car knows exactly what pristine smells like. It’s a distinct, precise new smell. I believe that God is using today’s word to encourage us to embrace a distinct, precise, new smell for the upcoming year. A smell of Heaven. How beautiful is that? Heaven smells differently than earth. It looks different than earth and it sounds different than earth. Maybe, just maybe, God is increasing levels. He may be allowing us to touch pristine in a heavenly realm. Prestine means perfect and completely clean. Psalm 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Let’s seek to strive for purity, not perfection, because purity is an attainable goal.

You are loved, Kris
