Refining Fire

A word from the heart of God: Refining Fire.

When you go through the fire, you come out a new person. I believe that with all my heart. Suffering can be looked at like a door. Many decide not to go through the door, but rather numb themselves to avoid the pain. I have found through my own suffering that once you open the door, you’ll find a wall of fire. This fire is meant to refine you. This fire is meant for purification, not destruction. Just as a metalsmith uses intense heat to melt precious metal and skim away impurities, God uses trials and testing to cleanse the hearts of His people. God's goal in testing believers is to help us reflect His character. Zechariah 13:9: “I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold.” It is my prayer that a new you beautifully emerges from the fire.

You are loved, Kris
