Seek Value
So many people today seek success without realizing that success is fleeting. Success is relative. My definition of success can be much different than yours. Instead of seeking worldly success, I would encourage you to seek to be a person who adds value to another person's life. If you do that just watch how God elevates you spiritually. In that elevation your mindset of success will shift dramatically and adding value to another person's life will become someone you desire. 1 Timothy 4:8 says, “For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” What a powerful scripture. In essence, this scripture is saying, keeping your earthly body healthy has value because remember it is the host for the spirit living within you, but true value comes from a posture of godliness. Godliness has true value both here on earth as well as in Heaven. Divine value transcends.
