Tears

A word from the heart of God: Tears.

God sees every tear we cry. He keeps track of our sorrows and He promises a future time in heaven where He will wipe away all tears and remove all pain and sadness. That is a covenant promise from Him. God does not ignore your hurt. He draws close to those who have a broken heart. He is near! When you pray through your crying, God hears your voice and sees your grief—He listens! I have held Psalm 126:5 close to my heart for years now. It declares that “those who plant seeds in tears will harvest crops with shouts of joy.” There can be what I call “pockets of joy” after sorrow. Your tears are never wasted. They can become beautiful seeds for future joyful, divine harvests. Stand in that promise, knowing God is always near.
