The Power of a Vow
A word from the heart of God: The power of a Vow.
The word power means the capacity to act, do work, or have influence (e.g., strength, might, authority). A vow is a solemn, often public, sacred promise with significant consequences, typically involving God or major life commitments like marriage. A vow is something YOU declare to the LORD, or swear an oath to bind an agreement. Today, I’m sensing that God wants to remind you of the vows you declared before Him, the vows you promised to uphold to honor and to cherish every day of your life. This is a very personal word and it’s gonna mean a lot of things to a lot of different people, but whatever it means to you, I encourage you to quiet yourself down and let the Lord minister to your heart. If you’ve veered off course, if you’ve drifted, if you’ve forgotten, there is a new tomorrow. The beautiful thing about God is that His timing is not the same as ours, hence it’s never too late to change. It’s never too late to bring forth a new tomorrow and to honor Him. There is power in a vow, and once you make it with Him, it becomes eternal. Be reminded today of every beautiful thing you’ve connected yourself to Him with. God is our strength. He is our Hope. The Lord is our yesterday, our today, and our tomorrow.
You are loved, Kris
