The Power of Heaven

A word from the heart of God: The Power of Heaven.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded of the power of heaven. Acts 4:12 says, “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” There is this beautiful song by Hope Darst called “In the Mighty Name of Jesus” and the lyrics say: 

“In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray

Calling on the power of Heaven, I proclaim

Every weapon formed against me, it must break

In the mighty name of Jesus.”

When you call down heaven in the name of Jesus, you move in and under that authority, proclaiming every promise from God Himself. Never underestimate the Power of Heaven. There is absoluteness in the words, “all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me,” Matthew 28:18.
