When you are blinded

A word from the heart of God: When you are blinded.

When you actively and voluntarily move in sin, it blinds you from goodness and purity. When you’re so full of sinfulness, you can’t see truth. We have to pursue holiness and curb our flesh. If you do not do that, bitterness and resentment and all the foolishness of this world will settle within you. God wants you to see the beauty in the gifts He bestows upon you. This is especially true in marriage. It’s the ploy of darkness to destroy marriages with pornography and the spirit of lust. Don’t be blinded by the temporary foolishness of the world. Seek holiness, goodness, and purity, and watch how infatuated you will be with your partner when you truly honor God in your marriage. “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:14.
