When you decide

A word from the heart of God: When you decide.

One of the greatest lessons I learned is that I’m not responsible for how others decide to treat me. Decisions are something we control. When you decide to do something, you make a choice to do it, and that choice invokes a direction and/or a consequence. Too often, people make decisions randomly without truly thinking about the real consequences of their decisions. The Bible is very clear on accountability for our actions, hence our decisions. Romans 14:12 declares, “So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” It is very wise to align your decisions with the word of God. When you choose to allow His Will to be your will, then those decisions will honor Him and, in exchange, honor others. Remember, your decisions are your own and the same holds true for others. Their decisions are their own.

You are loved, Kris
