Do not surround yourself with people who think you are too much for them. Your hard work, your beauty, your accomplishments are pure examples of God's favor over your life; never dilute that and never apologize for it.

If a person gets angry because they have been exposed, that’s an unhealthy posture. Taking accountability for one’s actions and behaviors is one of the highest forms of praise

It’s my opinion that maturity is exposed in change. If you want to gauge how emotionally mature you are, look at your conduct when difficult change crosses your path.

The word more means greater or additional amount or degree. More is good because it usually means an increase, but it can also be dangerous if you only see it from an earthly perspective.

There are seasons when that statement, in my opinion, seems impossible. The truth is trusting God in hardship, in tragedy, in suffering is humanly impossible.

God loves goodness and true goodness can not be faked. Some people can walk in and out of goodness but that doesn’t make them good people.

The Bible says in Proverbs 6:16-19, “There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.”

This is such a powerful prayer. If you're struggling with something or someone, seek God to bring all things to the surface.

I love this word today. I think my new motto will be, “I think I’ll skip that.” I’m referencing the foolishness and immaturity that surrounds us in this world.

I remember when I was young, I’d work two jobs just for money. I learned early on that if I worked for money, then money became my boss. I changed my perspective about money when my heart aligned with purpose.

I attended a conference yesterday and while I was there one of the speakers referenced the difference between work and a job. A job is a form of employment.

When I think of the word movement, I immediately think of exercise. Every gym instructor will tell you, just keep moving. Sometimes in life, we get stuck in a place.

If you speak for God, you have to sound like God. We need to think about this for a minute. We can not truly sound like God, for God is omniscient and infinite, but we can strive to carry a posture that emulates goodness, righteousness, and purity.

There is this beautiful scripture that is used often at church as a blessing over you. Numbers 6:24-26, “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Amen.

When you believe something, you prepare for it. In my opinion, preparation is the highest act of faith. When you believe something, you prove your faith by preparing for it.

When I first sensed this word, I immediately thought of the sci-fi movie Star Track. The entire movie is based around exploring the unknown in the galaxy.

Today, I sense God giving us a little insight on how to pray. Navigating within a fallen world is not easy.

Proverbs 24:3 says, “By wisdom a house is built and through understanding it is established, and through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”
