When you are complacent, it means being self-satisfied and unconcerned, often to a fault, feeling so pleased with your current situation or achievements that you stop striving for improvement or ignore potential problems, even when dangers or deficiencies exist.

I’m reading a book by Gabriel Gauthier, Living Under an Open Heaven. In the book, Gabriel refers to searching your heart daily so the spirit of God can reveal all unsurrendered places.
